Episode 61 Jason reviews LEGO 8080, Undersea Explorer. This is an Atlantis set and was release in June of 2010. The set comes with 364 pieces and 1 mini figure of which is an Atlantis diver (Bobby Buoy). Set features a yellow and black sea snake and A red treasure shark key is also included.
We love the sea snake. It has a ball pivot for it’s spiked tail which each segment can also twist and turn. The head of the sea snake has great teeth and some wicked eyes much like that of the Atlantis Shadow Snapper.
The undersea explorer has 6 larger rolling tires and it transforms into a robot that is equipped with a torpedo launcher, lights, flick missiles and a grappling hand.
This set retails for $39.99 which comes to 10.9 ¢ per piece. Recommended ages is 7-14.
