Episode 65 Stephen reviews LEGO 8084, the Wampa Cave. This is a LEGO Star Wars set and was released in July of 2010. The set comes with 297 pieces and 4 mini figures including Luke Skywalker (Hoth) with light-saber, Zev Senesca, skeleton and the super COOL and highly sought after collectible Wampa figure.
The set also comes with, of course, the Wampa cave which allows you to recreate the famous scene from the Empire Strikes Back (watch below) with Luke hanging upside down and then using the force to snag his light-saber to cut off the Wampa’s arm. The cave also has features a carcass separate from the skeleton mini figure.
The Wampa figure is the big draw with this set and is very popular on eBay. He comes with a piece of meat and his claw can hold mini figures. He is AWESOME!
A nice snowspeeder very similiar to LEGO 7666 Hoth Rebel Base is included. The snowspeeder does include a rope and hook that can be used to take down the AT-AT.
This set retails for $39.99 which comes to 13.4 ¢ per piece. Recommended ages is 7-12.
