Episode 67 Stephen reviews LEGO 8096, Emperor Palpatine’s Shuttle. This is a LEGO Star Wars set and was released in July of 2010. The set comes with 592 pieces and 4 mini figures including Emperor Palpatine, Clone Pilot, 2-1B Medic Droid and a battle damaged Anakin Skywalker with Darth Vader helmet.

This is the shuttle we see Emperor Palpatine pick up Anakin with at the end of Episode 3 on the planet of Mustafar (lava planet). Shuttle contains a medic bed where you can lay down Anakin and put on the Darth Vader helmet to complete his transformation. The shuttle is 12 inches long and has a 15 inch wing span. We like the durability of the shuttle.

This set retails for $59.99 which comes to 10 ¢ per piece. Recommended ages is 9-14. Comes with 2 instruction books and the bags are numbered.

    i wonder why this set is cheaper than the slave 1 set!
    it has a few more pieces than the slave 1.

    There was actually another set with the same purpose as Emperor Palpatine’s Shuttle, but not entirely the same:# 7251 Darth Vader Transformation 2 minifigs(Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker) 53 pieces made in 2005.

    with anakin how come he has two arms and two legs remember obi wan cut them off so why does he still have them but he is still my second fav charecter

      That’s bad as I haven’t lost mine but it broke and I carnt be bothered rebuilding it

    I got this set on sale for mega clearance; it averaged out to roughly 8 cents per piece. As far as LEGO Star Wars goes, i think that that is a steal!!!!

    this was a terrible review you did not show the minifigures detail, you did not show the cockpit well and you even forgot about the landing gear.
