Episode 80 Jason reviews a LEGO Racers set, 8169. This set was released in May 2009 and comes with 741 pieces and no mini figures. You can make either the coupe version or the spyder (convertible). You get 2 instruction books (1 for each model).

Set features the all-impressive yellow Lamborghini Gallardo. The base price on a real Lamborghini of this model is around $200,000! These bad boys can hit 200+ mph and do zero to 60mph in 3.5 seconds.

This set retails for $59.99 which comes to 8.1¢ per piece. Recommended ages is 9-14.

    Thank you Jason for reviewing this kit.

    Because of this review, I have bought this box on E-bay, and already build the 2 variations (first the coupe then the cabriolet), and I think the cabrio looks much better than the coupe.

    The model is highly detailed, I even got Lamborghini stickers on the floorbase, what I really do like.

    This Lambo with fit easy on a shelf with a Lego Ferrari F430 Compition (red) and with my VW T1 Camper van.

    So, now I do want to obtain the Lambo Police car, and they are becomming quite rare (and expensive) at this moment.
